Craft Stamper Take it Make it Challenge - Favourite theme of the year so far!

Hello sweet friends, it`s the first Friday of the month which means it`s time for a new challenge over at
for the
and the theme for August is :

Favourite Technique Of The Year So Far!

This theme is either going to be really easy, or really hard, depending on how decisive you can be when it comes to choosing a singular technique! Very simply choose ANY technique by ANY designer from ANY of the Craft Stamper issues of 2014 so far. So that's probably a couple of hundred projects to choose from??!!!
Important: remember to state clearly on your own blog post the name of the technique you are showing, the name of the designer who originally showcased the technique in the mag, and the CS issue you have taken it from.
Also: remember there needs to be stamping involved somewhere!
So many techniques to ummm and ahhh over before I went with the one I had such a ball with :
Potato Stamping Technique
 by
Helen Chilton in the June Issue . . . fun, fun, fun!
From a recent doodle I created in my journal to . . .
. . . humble shapes on potato`s,  I do looove little houses . . . whoops I missed the chimney potato, sorry about that but it was a small rectangle cut into another potato . . . keeping the shapes simple.
{ so happy to report that this time no fingers were cut in the making, lol }
I used acrylic paints on the potato { not too much } and stamped onto old book pages.
Scraps of paper for the windows and door, with a few scribbles added along the way.
I love the way the little picket fence turned out . . . cute!
Time for my imagination to turn a canvas covered in old book pages into this . . .
. . . with the help of some Unity Stamps, Pan Pastels, fine black liner pen, Maimeri medium and some bottle tops.

Be sure and check out the challenge blog for all the information
PLUS
you will not want to miss the projects the rest of the design team have created . . . stunning they are!!
Just click on HERE

Before you go, here`s a little extra potato project from back in May . . .

. . . the entire flower was created by carving into potato`s

We`re really excited and can`t wait to see what technique`s you create with . . . but till then have fun and get messy!

Big hugs
XOXOX
